We run the rule over the main M&S food offers, including the £12 Dine In deal, £15 Family Dine In offer and £12 Family Pizza meal deal, as well as special offers.

M&S cheap food offers: a complete guide

M&S meal deals can be an ideal option if you don't fancy cooking but want something cheaper than a takeaway.

M&S has several meal deals, but they are only available at certain times so it can be difficult to keep track of what you can get hold of.

We reveal all the meal deals M&S has to offer and when these deals are likely to be available.

Before we get started, it may be worth considering an M&S credit card if you’re a regular shopper. Just be sure to clear the debt in full each month!

If you’re not keen on borrowing, you can opt for the free Sparks reward scheme.

M&S Dine In for two – £12

Earlier this year, M&S hiked the price of its Dine In for two offer from £10 to £12.

While there is a wider range of dishes to choose from, you don’t get anything extra for the higher price – so you’ll still get a main, side and a starter or dessert.

M&S used to change the menu every few weeks, but it does so far less frequently these days.

The M&S Dine In menu varies, so you could get anything from barbeque dishes, traditional British cuisine, fish dishes and occasionally steak.

You can check out our review of the £12 meal deal to see what you can get and to find out whether it offers good value for money.

M&S Family meal deal – £15

The Family meal deal tends to run alongside the £12 Dine In deal. Unlike other deals, the price of the Family meal deal can vary but at the time of writing, will set you back £15.

The menu, which has included Tex-Mex dishes and American cuisine in the past, changes on a regular basis.

For £15, you can usually pick up two mains and four sides. This deal is designed for four people rather than two, so you should get more food than the £12 Dine In deal.

M&S Family Pizza meal deal – £12

M&S has recently hiked the price of its Family Pizza meal deal from £10 to £12.

Sadly, you won’t get anything extra for the higher price, but you can still choose two pizzas and two sides (or desserts).

You can currently choose from nine pizzas, including BBQ chicken and cheese and ham pizza. The sides are quite varied and include anything from crispy mushrooms to mac and cheese bites to chocolate cookie traybake.

Similar to the M&S Family meal deal, this should serve four people. You can find out more about the £12 M&S Family Pizza deal here.

M&S Valentine’s Day special – £20

As you might expect, the M&S Valentine’s Day Dine In meal deal is usually available shortly before the big romantic day and replaces the traditional Dine In for two offer in stores.

At £20 it is more expensive than the normal offer, but you do get a more generous menu including a starter, side, main, dessert and a bottle of wine or some chocolates.

You should note the price and offer details may change next year. For more information, read M&S Valentine’s Day Dine In meal deal special: what's on offer.

M&S Easter Dine In special - £20

The M&S Easter Dine In meal deal is only available in-store a few days before Easter.

While this deal is more expensive than the Dine In for two deal, this does feed four people as you get a roasting joint, three sides and a sharing dessert.

Unfortunately, you don’t get a bottle of wine or non-alcoholic substitute with this deal, but you could save up to £12.50 compared to buying the items separately.

You should note the price and offer details may change next year.

M&S Mother’s Day Dine In special - £20

The M&S Mother’s Day Dine In deal is very similar to the Easter special offer above – the price is the same and the menus were nearly identical this year.

It costs £20 and feeds four people, but it was only available for a limited time. You get a roasting joint, three sides and a sharing dessert instead of the usual £12 Dine In options.

You should note the price and offer details may change next year.
