Christmas supermarket deliveries 2025: when you can book slots at Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda & more

If you want to book a UK supermarket delivery in the run-up to Christmas, here’s when festive slots are released by Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda and more.

It might feel a little too early to be thinking about Christmas, but it always pays to be prepared when it comes to the festive period.

And that includes booking in your Christmas supermarket delivery slot.

The big names have mostly confirmed when their slots will be available, with some already opening bookings to delivery pass holders. So, it’s a good idea to mark your calendars, as slots tend to go quickly.

Asda Christmas delivery slots 2025

Asda is expected to open up its Christmas delivery slots for Delivery Pass customers from mid-October. However, there's no information available as to when all other customers will be able to book a slot.

Morrisons Christmas delivery slots 2025

Morrisons Delivery Pass customers are now able to book their Christmas delivery slots for between 20 and 24 December, with a minimum delivery amount of just £25.

We don't yet know when all other customers will be able to place their orders.

Ocado Christmas delivery slots 2025

Ocado has already opened up access to its Christmas delivery slots for ‘Smart Pass’ customers, but has not revealed when all other customers will be able to book..

Be aware, though, that the minimum order is a hefty £90, so it won't be an option for those just looking to pick up a few last-minute or perishable items

Sainsbury’s Christmas delivery slots 2025

Sainsbury’s has not yet announced its Christmas delivery dates for 2025. Last year, Delivery Pass holders were able to book from 16 October, so we might see a similar launch date this time around. 

Once open, customers will be able to schedule deliveries for between December 18–24 and can change their baskets until 11pm the day before their delivery is due.

Tesco Christmas delivery slots 2025

Tesco customers who pay for an Anytime Delivery Saver plan will be able to book their Christmas delivery from six in the morning on 4 November.

Off-peak Delivery Saver holders and all other customers will have to wait until 6AM on 11 November.  

Waitrose Christmas delivery slots 2025

You can now book your Waitrose Christmas delivery slot if you have a Delivery Pass. The upmarket chain has yet to reveal when all other customers can book.
