Pick from our shortlist to name the best investment platform of the year!

Investment platforms, or fund supermarkets as they are sometimes known, have opened up the world of investing to thousands of people.

But which is the best one? loveMONEY readers have picked out five who they believe have offered the best service this year. Now we need your help to determine a final winner.

BestInvest

With BestInvest you can put money into trusts, funds, shares, pensions and ISAs.

It looks after more than £9 billion of its investors’ money, with much of its customer base coming from referrals from existing clients.

Readers commented on its "easy user interface" as well as its "good portfolio management".

Fidelity

Fidelity manages £61.1 billion for more than one million investors in the UK and £247.1 billion for investors worldwide.

You can invest in funds from more than 100 providers, including Fidelity itself, and there's plenty of detailed research at your fingertips too.

Readers liked its product range and reasonable fees, as well as its "smooth" dealings.

Hargreaves Lansdown

Hargreaves Lansdown is one of the biggest names when it comes to investing, and describes its Vantage service as a "one-stop shop for your investments". It allows you to hold all of your funds, shares, ISAs and SIPPs in one place.

loveMONEY readers liked Hargreaves Lansdown’s "excellent service" and ease of use, with the ability to make changes in a single phone call. You won’t be hanging around too long either: it only takes 9.1 seconds on average to answer a customer call.

Others commented on its "quality research", with a wealth of information available to investors.

Interactive Investor

Interactive Investor offers a wide range of investments, everything from gilts and bonds to spread betting.

One reader praised Interactive Investor because "everything's there at a glance". The homepage lists market movers and breaking news, while everything else is easy to find from the homepage.

The Share Centre

The Share Centre has been helping people invest their money for 25 years, and promises "plain speaking, fair value and quality advice".

It caters for both new and experienced investors, dealing in shares, SIPPs and a range of investments for your children like Junior ISAs and Child Trust Funds.

You’ll find tons of basic information and more detailed analysis on The Share Centre’s website.

Readers praised its flat-rate administration fee, its transparent charges and the layout of its website.
