Last chance for airport cashback

Final few days for special airport cashback deals.

Time is running out to help yourself to some easy free money when you shop at airports.

American Express launched a promotion last year which meant that cardholders could earn money back when they shopped at various airport retailers at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester and Edinburgh.

However, the cashback offer finishes on 31st January, so if you have a flight in the next couple of days, this is your last chance to take advantage.

What cashback can I earn?

Here are the cashback deals currently on offer:

• Spend £10 and get £5 statement credit at Caffé Nero.
• Spend £10 and get £5 statement credit at WHSmith.
• Spend £30 and get £10 statement credit at Dixons Retail and Sunglass Hut.
• Spend £65 and get £10 statement credit at Harrods and Fortnum & Mason.
• Spend £65 and get £10 statement credit at Ted Baker.

You can only take advantage of one offer at each retailer once.

How it works

First you need to connect your American Express credit card to an account on the social network Foursquare. You can do this through the American Express website.

Next you open the Foursquare app or site and search #AmexOffers to find the American Express special deals at the various terminals. Simply click ‘Add to Card’ if it’s something you might use. Then use your American Express card to pay when you’re shopping with that retailer at the airport.

Earn cashback all the time

If you don’t have an American Express credit card, or you don’t have a flight in the next few days, then you won’t be able to enjoy these deals. But with a cashback credit card you can get money back every time you spend, no matter where you shop.
