Thanks to social media, today's celebrities are more accessible than ever. But what if you want something a little more personal like a video message to you or family or friends? From Baywatch's David Hasslehoff to Lindsay Lohan to Sarah Palin, read on to discover what it costs to get a dedicated message from some famous, and infamous, people via the likes of video messaging service Cameo. Jerry Springer: $135 (£102)

Since the early 1990s, Jerry Springer has been a household name as the host of The Jerry Springer Show, which brought some of daytime TV's most explosive moments to our screens. A personalised video message from the politician-turned-presenter is available for $135 (£102), making Springer the most affordable star in our round-up.
Tommy Chong: $150 (£114)

Tommy Chong is best known for his role in the American sitcom That '70s Show and as one half of the comedy due Cheech and Chong. As well as a bespoke video message, which costs $150 (£114), diehard fans can also get a two-minute, one-to-one video call with the star for $45 (£34).
Simon Leviev: $199 (£151)

A more controversial entry: unfortunately, it seems the "Tinder Swindler" Simon Leviev is profiting from the attention he gained from the Netflix documentary about him. The scam artist, who conned numerous women he met through dating apps out of almost $10 million (£7.6m), is currently charging $199 (£151) for a personalised video message on Cameo.
Sarah Palin: $199 (£151)

Sarah Palin was recently defeated in her campaign for a seat in the House of Representatives, but it’s not all doom and gloom for the former governor of Alaska. The politician earned a whopping $211,529 (£184k) on Cameo in 2021, which is $37,529 (£32.6k) more than the salary for House reps currently serving.
Sean Spicer: $199 (£151)

Sean Spicer, the former White House Press Secretary under Donald Trump, is available on video-sharing website Cameo for $199 (£151). Spicer donates all his Cameo profits to charity.
Brian Baumgartner: $225 (£171)

Brian Baumgartner, better known as Kevin from The Office, might not charge a premium for his personalised messages. But, according to Business Insider, he's the most successful star on Cameo. Since starting his account, Baumgartner has netted more than $1 million (£758.7k) in total. Speaking to the BBC, he said: "I view [Cameo] as an attempt from two people who want to make a connection. It brings them back to a moment that they shared together... It's been, actually, very rewarding."
Robbie Coltrane: $250 (£190)

Fans of Harry Potter, rejoice! A personalised message from Robbie Coltrane, who played lovable Hogwarts groundskeeper Hagrid, costs a cool $250 (£190). His Cameo bio states that all proceeds will go towards helping "a great cause".
Nick Frost: $250 (£190)

Most famous for the 'Cornetto trilogy' of comedy films, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World’s End, British actor Nick Frost is available on Cameo for $250 (£190).
Carole Baskin: $299 (£227)

Tiger King star Carol Baskin is super popular on Cameo. The internet sensation promises to deliver the "purrfect" message to cat lovers everywhere for $299 (£227).
Lance Bass: $299 (£227)

The perfect gift for fans of American boy band NSYNC, former member Lance Bass will send you a personalised video message for $299 (£227). Like Spicer, he donates the money to charity.
Boy George: $300 (£228)

Boy George promises to send "loving" messages to fans – and even sing his hit song Karma Chameleon – all for $300 (£228).
Ted Nugent: $300 (£228)

American rocker Ted Nugent, famed for hits like Stranglehold, is available on Cameo for $300 (£228). He promises to deliver personalised video messages to "friends, family, or enemies".
Alice Cooper: $300 (£228)

A bespoke video message from rock legend Alice Cooper comes with a $300 (£228) price tag. In his promotional video, the singer, actor, and one-time restaurateur says he's available to congratulate Cameo users on everything from graduations to "get-out-of-jail-free cards".
Rudy Giuliani: $325 (£247)

One of the more surprising Cameo stars is Rudy Giuliani, the former Associate Attorney General of the United States and Mayor of New York City. Guiliani will send his fans a bespoke video message for $325 (£247), but there's no need to wait for a special occasion. The politician says he's also available to share stories and answer any questions and concerns.
Vanilla Ice: $399 (£303)

Vanilla Ice, famous for his 1990 hit Ice Ice Baby, will send you a personalised video message for $399 (£288). According to his Cameo profile, the rapper is available for everything from bar mitzvahs and birthdays to "ice ice baby showers."
