While her Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw has had a turbulent love life, the same can’t be said for Sarah Jessica Parker, who has been blissfully married to Matthew Broderick since 1997. The thespian couple, who share three children, first met in the early 90s and connected over their mutual love of Broadway, even starring in the same run of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Parker is one of the highest-paid television stars of all time. At the height of her Sex and the City fame, she was earning a whopping $3.2 million (£2.5m) per episode. The show's reboot, And Just Like That..., first landed on TV screens in late 2021, with Parker reportedly taking home at least $1 million (£790k) per episode.
And Broderick? He’s best known for his iconic starring role in the 1986 comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and he also voiced the adult Simba in Disney’s The Lion King in 1994. Combined, Parker and Broderick are reportedly worth $200 million (£158m).
