Ukraine's most committed allies
Fewer governments around the world have pledged new aid to Ukraine this year, though multiple countries have reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to supporting the war-torn nation in its fight against Russia's aggression.
Among those offering additional military, humanitarian, and direct financial aid in 2023 are Nordic countries such as Norway and Sweden, not to mention Japan. Meanwhile several donors – notably the UK, Netherlands, and Norway – are following America's lead and extending their pledges over longer periods, making it a whole lot easier for the Ukrainian authorities to budget effectively going forward.
