We’ve got new and extended restaurant deals from Frankie & Benny’s, Giraffe and The Real Greek, free organic vegetables, Swiss chocolate and coffee, dine out at top London restaurants for only £10, the return of the Dine in for £10 offer and up to 50% off quality wine bin-ends from Laithwaites.

Best supermarket deals

This week we will start with some special offers at Tesco including Hellmanns’ Real Mayonnaise for half price (down from £2.79 to £1.39), buy one, get one free on Cadbury’s Mini Eggs at £1.50 a bag, get two bags of Jaffa Oranges for £2.50 (usually £2 each), while you can grab two packs of unsmoked bacon for £4.  Also new customers can earn 1,000 Clubcard points with their first £50 grocery order using thisHotUKDeals voucher.

Next up, Sainsburys. You can save 50% on Nestle Shreddies down to £1.37 and get two packs of Taste the Difference Beef & Black Pepper Sausages for £5. Taste the Difference Duck Legs are half price at £2.49 down from £4.99, while a wide variety of vegetables are available for only £1.  Enter voucher code: 3QR7-KXHQ-J3C3 at the checkout to get £10 off a £70 shop to be delivered by 28th January.

At Asda there are great offers on fresh meat and fish, with the three for £10 offer and two for £2 on a range of fruits and vegetables from pears to potatoes. Take advantage of the Family Meal Deal with a meal, side and dessert for £6.50. Also, check out items still slashed to 50p like Frijj Strawberry Milkshake and the Kingsmill Little Big loaf.

Go to Waitrose to pick up some prepared fruit, two for £2.50, and be healthy on the go. The supermarket is also doing a three for £10 offer on meat and fish (the same offer as in Asda) so why not pick up some salmon and serve it with Asparagus tips – two packs for £3 and Maille Hollandaise sauce at £1.49 (a Brand Price match with Tesco.) There is also free delivery on online orders over £50, with the discount automatically applied at checkout.

At M&S it is two for one on all of the tasty and healthy Fuller Longer meals. The Dine in for £10 offer is back on until 17th January, including a main meal, side dish, dessert and wine for two people.

Finally, let’s take a look at Morrisons. Loads of goods are now half price, like Innocent fruit juice for 99p and GU Christmas Party Pack for £2.50 (down from £5). There are also half price offers on meat and fish with a whole side of Fresh Scottish Salmon fillet down from £12.99 to £6.49.

Drinks

Foodie rewards cards

With so many loyalty cards and diners club cards around, which are worth getting?

Coffee store cards like Costa and Starbucks allow you to collect points for rewards. Starbucks have just launched My Starbucks Rewardswhere you pay with a pre-loaded card and collect stars. When you have got 15 stars you get a free Tall Drink. Register your existing card hereor if you don’t yet have one collect one in-store or buy one online.

Costa Coffee rewards card is free to join. Get five points per £1 spent, register online and get 100 free points. Special offers and chances to earn more points are regularly emailed out to customers.

Tastecard  is a popular diners’ discount card and gives 50% off or two for one at a wide range of restaurants across the country. Sign up for a free one-month, no-obligation trial. Check that your favourite restaurant is involved in the scheme before you buy though: for example the Real Greek restaurant no longer accepts the card (and you can’t use Tesco Clubcard vouchers anymore either!)

Look for regional discount dining clubs specific to your area, like The Gastro Card which offers a range of discounts throughout the West Midlands, such as 25% off a three course lunch at a Michelin star restaurant in Birmingham. Membership costs £25 a year.
