What is a Crisis Loan?

Crisis Loans were offered to help cover costs following an emergency or disaster but they have now been abolished.

Crisis loans were abolished on 1st April. You may be able to get alternative help from the Government's Social Fund, either via a budgeting loan or from your local council. Contact your local Jobcentre Plus for more information.
