Special McDonald's menu items from around the world
McDonald's biggest EVER burger is on the way

McDonald's fans in the UK have long looked across the pond to the fabulous fast food offerings only available in US outlets. We're talking about mouthwatering menu items like the envy-inducing Spicy Chicken McNuggets and the crave-worthy fried apple pies. But now, British fans are finally getting to try a McDonald's burger well before it lands in America – and it's set to be the chain's biggest and tastiest yet.

Introducing the Big Arch

McDonald's announced the launch of this gigantic burger in December 2023, but fast food fans had to wait until the following summer before they could get their hands on it – and only then if they lived in select locations. In fact, the massive new burger, named the Big Arch (or Le Grand M in parts of Canada), was initially only available in McDonald's outlets in Canada and Portugal. But at long last, the Big Arch is coming to the UK, hitting menus on 18 June 2025.
Bigger and better

So, what makes this burger so special? The Big Arch in the UK comes complete with two 100% British and Irish beef patties, three white Cheddar cheese slices, crispy onions, shredded lettuce, crunchy pickles and a tangy new Big Arch sauce, all inside a soft bun. The fast food giant boasts that it's big enough to satisfy even the most hungry McDonald's super-fan. The ingredients used vary slightly from country to country (think Canadian beef in Canada, for example), but feedback from fans has been resoundingly positive so far.
Fast food upgrade

The Big Arch, which is notably larger than the classic Big Mac, will cost around £7.99, or you’ll pay £9.99 for a medium meal with a side and drink. The arrival of the hefty burger in the UK is a major coup for fast food fans who are used to wondering if other global McDonald’s items (here’s looking at you, Egg BLT McMuffin) will ever make it to their shores.

52. McKroket, Netherlands

McDonald's claims the McKroket is a 'real traditional Dutch burger'. It vaguely describes the sandwich as having McKroket mustard sauce and a McKroket patty. The burger is a bit of an acquired taste, but it's a hit in the Netherlands.
