can you get a mortgage on a holiday chalet brick built

wanting to buy a chalet brick is it possible to get a mortgage on this does anyone have a clue

    Most holiday chalets carry a 'no occupation' restriction of up to four months per year and these are unlikely to qualify for a normal residential mortgage.

    We bought a residential chalet home and have tried relentlessly to have a mortgage but to no avail, excuse being someone may be able to tow it away! Ridiculous. We finally financed through Parkhome Assist, maybe they can help.

    This would need to be a commercial loan rather than a Residential or BTL mortgage.
