The best landline deals

These days, most of us tend to rely on our mobile phones for calling our friends and loved ones. However, if you still use your landline, there are several things you can do to reduce how much you spend each month.

One of the most effective ways to slash your costs (apart from simply ditching your landline altogether) is to switch provider and find a better deal.

So here, I’m going to take a look at some of the best landline deals on the market right now.

Best for light users

Let’s start by looking at some of the best deals for those of you who don’t use your landline that often and want a basic deal that’s as cheap as possible.

As you can see, the very best deal here is the Primus Home Saver which comes with a monthly line rental of just £7.99 a month and no package fee. However, you’ll need to hurry if you want to take advantage of this deal, as this line rental price expires on 14 March.

You’ll also benefit from free national evening calls and free national weekend calls, while national daytime calls are just 3p per minute.

Alternatively, the Yourcalls Evening and Weekend Plan offers the same great rates for £1.70 more per month on line rental.

Bigger users

If you use your landline on a regular basis and need to make calls throughout the day (perhaps you work at home, for example), here are some of the best deals for you (with the cheapest package cost listed first):
