Multi Asset Funds

I am a brand new investor and have just dived into a world i didn't really have any clue about. I am starting to learn a bit more about the whole thing and decided to buy my first two funds. I went for two multi asset funds the first being Vanguard Lifestrategy 80% equities Acc and 7IM AAP Moderately Adventurous C Fund Acc. Just wondered what people think of this approach. I am in it for the long term - 20-30 years and have a moderate to adventurous risk tolerance. My question i suppose is "is there any point in investing in multiple multi-asset funds?" is this an approach that others use? Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
