multi car rip off

i have four cars. im the only named driver. total premiums between them? £2000.00. if i had one car i would do the same miles, represent the same risk and yet the one car would cost £600 to insure. we are told that it is the risk and the person that is being insured. generally the value of the car is immaterial. none of my cars is worth more than £5000 so why does an insurance company see me as four times the risk? i cant drive all four at once
