Welcome to this week's round-up of the latest and greatest food (and drink) deals, offers and freebies.

Best supermarket deals

This week we will start with a rundown of some of the great Rollback prices at Asda. First up, there’s an amazing 50p offer on Heinz beans, spaghetti and soups, and Asda garlic baguettes. You can stock up on essentials for only £1, such as Hartley’s strawberry jam, two litre bottles of 7Up, Sharwoods Egg Noodles and Hoisin stir fry sauce and Birds Eye Omega 3 fish fingers.

And you only have to spend £2 to get your hands on eight packs of Coke, fresh wild Alaskan Salmon or Walls’ Cornish vanilla ice cream!

Offers at Tesco this week include PG Tips for only £2, two packs of Alpro Soya yoghurts for £3 and buy one get one free on Lurpak Seasalt butter. You can also get £10 off a first grocery shop with code XXAFFT, valid until 6th February. If you aren’t a first time customer there is still a deal for you this week - £5 off a £40 shop. Offer expires on 29th January.

Special offers at Sainsbury’s include buy one get one free on Hellman’s Mayonnaise, two for £5 on Sainsbury’s Mexican ready meals,  get broccoli & cauliflower florets for only £1, save 33% on Carlsberg Export or, if you are off the booze, get 12 bottles of Becks Blue alcohol-free lager for £6.

Use eVoucher LRM9-FGGF-H49F for £10 off a £50 spend (new customers only, as usual!) valid for orders delivered on or before 10th February.

Get in quick to enjoy Marks & Spencer’s Dine in for £10 offer as it is ending on 31st January. View the current delicious menu here. Or go for the Chinese-themed meal in honour of the Year of the Dragon. For £10 you get two mains, two sides and a bottle of wine.

You can get £5 off when you spend £30 at Aldi with a voucher from the Daily Mirror, to be used by 2nd February. It was out in yesterday’s paper, but if you still have it knocking around then it is a great bonus, with the already low prices.

Other deals this week include double cream for 79p, Premium cheesecake for £1.75 and Canadian Maple Syrup for only £2.99, down from £3.49. Take advantage of the Aldi Super 6 while you still can – fruits and vegetables for only 69p – as the offer ends tomorrow!

Check out Westin Gourmet’s weekly deals where you can pick up bargains like 18% off four 8oz Australian 100 Day Ribeye Steaks, down from £29.41 to £24. Westin Gourmet doesn’t just sell meat, so why not sample its French Brie with 32% off 40 servings of 25g, down from £19.76 to £13.48. Collect loyalty points on your purchases when you join The Gourmet Club.

And remember, before you do any grocery shopping, always be sure to use MySupermarket to compare prices and see where your basket will be cheapest!

Treats

Pick up a delicious bargain with Thorntons, such as an end of season selection of chocolates weighing a total of at least 1kg for a mere £10 (RRP around £50!) You might not be able to stomach it all yourself, but the individual boxes could make great gifts.
