How rich is Jake Paul in 2025? Net worth of the social media star and athlete revealed
As the YouTuber-turned-boxer prepares to fight Anthony Joshua in his latest high-profile match up, we reveal how Jake Paul has already racked up an impressive $100 million fortune.
Jake Paul hit the headlines – yet again – this week after revealing plans for a blockbuster showdown against another former world boxing champion.
His fight against Mike Tyson last November, which aired on Netflix, became the most-streamed sporting event in history with 108 million viewers.
Now he’s set to enter the ring against two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
The fight, due to take place on December 19 in Miami, will also be live-streamed on Netflix and is expected to draw another massive audience.
With an eye-watering payday expected to be split equally between the two fighters, Paul is in line for a massive bump to his personal net worth.
At present, he’s reported to be sitting on a $100 million (£76.5m) fortune, according to the Celebrity Net Worth site.
Clearly, boxing has contributed a big chunk of his wealth, but ‘The Problem Child’ has also proved he’s no slouch in the business world either, launching numerous successful enterprises and partnerships over the years.
A quick background
Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Jake first rose to fame posting pranks on the video app Vine.
He’d built a huge following by the time the app shut down in 2017 and used this as a springboard to launch his acting career, as well as a successful YouTube channel.
While roles in shows like Disney’s Bizaardvark helped increase his profile among a wider young audience, it was his YouTube channel that proved to be the real money-spinner.

Having widened his focus from just pranks to include music videos and shock content as well, he racked up billions of views a year, with Forbes consistently naming him as one of the top earners on the video-sharing platform throughout the late 2010s and early 2020s.
In 2018 alone, it estimated Paul’s earnings at more than $21 million (£16.5m).
Jake Paul’s sponsorships
With Paul now one of the most easily recognised personalities on the Internet, he used his notoriety to launch a wide range of sponsorship deals and business ventures (as well as a successful boxing career of course – more on that later).
On the sponsorship side, he put his face to campaigns from clothing brand BoohooMAN and betting firm DraftKings.
More notably, he became the brand ambassador for energy drink Celsius in 2023 in response to his brother Logan’s highly successful Prime drinks launch.
The business rivalry proved hugely successful for both brands, helping drive sales and generate huge publicity.
While we don’t know exactly how much Celsius paid Paul to be ambassador, it was unquestionably a shrewd move on its part: the company’s revenue for 2023 came in at $1.3 billion (£1bn), more than doubling its 2022 performance of $654 million (£500m).
But Paul was clearly interested in being more than the face of other companies, launching numerous ventures of his own over the years.
Jake Paul’s businesses
During his first fight in 2018, against Deji Olatunji, he used the increased exposure to launch his own clothing brand RNBO (“Rise n Be Original”).
It’s a tactic he’s used repeatedly, launching new merch to tie in with his high-profile boxing matches, most notably against Mike Tyson in 2024.
It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see new items referencing the upcoming Anthony Joshua appearing on the Jake Paul merch site in the coming weeks.
His business ventures certainly aren’t limited to clothing.
In 2021, he co-founded a venture capital firm called Anti Fund alongside entrepreneur Geoffrey Woo, with the aim of investing early in numerous startup businesses.
He launched Betr in 2022, a micro-betting site aimed at attracting a younger audience than traditional rivals.
In 2024, we saw the launch of men’s body care brand W, with the Wall Street Journal reporting that the brand was worth $150 million (£115m) by the summer of that year.
Impressive figures, but in terms of Paul’s most successful business ventures, it’s hard to look past MVP, or Most Valuable Promotions.
Boxing and business
With Paul’s early fights proving hugely popular, he decided to take greater control in the promotion (and profits) of his fights by setting up his own boxing promotion company.
MVP was launched in 2021 alongside his adviser Nakisa Bidarian.
The company has played an integral part in ensuring the business side of Paul’s fights has gone from strength to strength alongside his boxing credentials.
As mentioned at the start, his blockbuster match up against Mike Tyson last year was the most live-streamed sporting event ever, with next month’s Anthony Joshua fight sure to be another massive event.
And as the popularity of his fights has grown, so has the money-earning potential: the Mike Tyson bout came with an estimated $60-$80 million (£46-£61m) fight purse.
When Paul squares up to Anthony Joshua in the Kaseya Center in Miami on December 19, the two will split a purse worth a staggering $140-$180 million (£107-£137m).
