Amazon Everyday Essentials Week 2025: all you need to know

The retailing behemoth is set to slash prices by up to 40% over a seven-day period.

Amazon is set to cut the price of thousands of household items as part of a new week-long sale kicking off later this month.

Everyday Essentials Week will see the cost of things like coffee, loo roll and more reduced by up to 40% starting on 21 May.

Interestingly, you won’t have to be an Amazon Prime member to take part in the sale, although you may have to pay delivery fees or wait longer for your deliveries as a result.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Everyday Essentials Week event.

What kind of products will be reduced?

Amazon said it will be slashing prices across some of its most popular categories, including beauty, grocery, pets and health and personal care.

It added: “Customers can discover savings across a variety of everyday essentials – with deals on products for every room of the home, and for every member of the family – from baby wipes, shampoo, and toilet roll, to coffee pods, pet food, and fabric softener.

“Everyday Essentials Week will include must-see deals offering great discounts on brands including Flash, KIND, Lily’s Kitchen, and Gillette Venus, savings on top brands like Andrex, Fairy, Tommee Tippee, and WaterWipes, plus get up to 15% off everyday essentials from Amazon Basics, Amazon Essentials, and by Amazon.”

Customers who like doing their weekly supermarket shop with the retail giant, for example on Amazon Fresh or in one of its limited physical stores, will see grocery prices slashed by up to 30% during the week.

“This includes deals from Cadbury, Nestlé, and Twinings,” it added.

When is Amazon EveryDay Essentials Week?

The sale will start at midnight on Wednesday, 21 May and run until midnight on Tuesday, 27 May.

How can I find out what deals will be available?

Amazon sale events can be slightly more convoluted than traditional sales as deals can launch at different times and be time-limited, meaning you could miss out on savings.

The first thing to do is keep a regular eye on this Amazon Essentials page once the sale starts next week.

If you have specific things in mind, Amazon says shoppers will be able to sign up for deal alert notifications for recently searched items on-site and in the app, or add items to a WishList for notifications if top picks are included in an Everyday Essentials Week deal.
