A reboot of the classic 1950s show, The All-New Mickey Mouse Club introduced a fresh crop of Mouseketeers between 1989 and 1996. Many of its young performers went on to far bigger things, with the cast including future A-listers such as Ryan Gosling, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. The show also welcomed an eclectic parade of celebrity guests, including one world-famous billionaire and future US president.

A surprising number of future A-listers auditioned for the show but failed to earn a pair of Mouseketeer ears. Jessica Simpson, who is now worth $200 million (£148m), reached the final six in 1992 but flubbed the audition after hearing Christina Aguilera sing, intimidated by her powerhouse vocals.

Other stars who missed out include best friends Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, currently worth $300 million (£222m) and $170 million (£126m) respectively, not to mention Kirsten Dunst, Ryan Phillippe, the late Brittany Murphy, Joey Fatone, Donald Faison and Sara Bareilles.

Nick Carter came tantalisingly close to becoming a Mouseketeer. At just 12 years old, he auditioned for both The All-New Mickey Mouse Club and a fledgling vocal group that would become the Backstreet Boys.

Remarkably, Carter was accepted for both opportunities and opted for the boy band instead. It proved to be a life-changing decision, with the Backstreet Boys becoming one of the bestselling groups of all time. Celebrity Net Worth estimates Carter's fortune at $35 million (£25.9m).

The show also attracted some seriously wealthy names. Most strikingly, Donald Trump appeared as himself in a 1989 Guest Day episode, decades before entering the White House. Today, Celebrity Net Worth puts his fortune at $7.6 billion (£5.6m).

Debbi Fields, the founder of the US cookie chain Mrs. Fields, is the next richest with $200 million (£148m), followed by Christie Brinkley with $100 million (£73.9m) and Reba McEntire, whose fortune is pegged at $95 million (£70.2m). Bob Saget was worth $50 million (£37m) at the time of his death in 2022, while guests Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, John Stamos and Whoopi Goldberg have fortunes in the region of $25 million (£18.5m).

Not every All-New Mickey Mouse Club alum has a reliable fortune estimate available. Among them is Tiffini Hale, who later performed in the Disney-created pop group The Party and died tragically in 2021 at just 46.

Other former Mouseketeers without dependable figures include Deedee Magno, Chasen Hampton, Dale Godboldo, Ilana Miller, Lindsey Alley and Nikki DeLoach (pictured). Longtime host Fred Newman is another notable name without a credible wealth estimate.

Rhona Bennett joined The All-New Mickey Mouse Club in 1991, getting an early start alongside several future superstars. She later built a varied career spanning music and acting, including a recurring role on The Jamie Foxx Show and a solo recording deal with producer Rodney Jerkins' Darkchild label.

Bennett went on to join R&B group En Vogue in 2003, returning after a hiatus and remaining part of the lineup for many years. More recently, she has also worked as an author and life coach.

Several years before Felicity made her a star, Keri Russell was singing, dancing and performing sketches on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club. She has since joked that she was the "least talented" of a cast overflowing with future megastars, although her later career suggests otherwise.

Russell won a Golden Globe for Felicity, earned further acclaim for The Americans and now leads Netflix hit The Diplomat. She remains close to former Mouseketeers Ilana Miller and Lindsey Alley.

Before becoming one of the defining voices of *NSYNC, JC Chasez spent several years on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, where he met future bandmate Justin Timberlake. He joined the boy band in the mid-1990s and helped power hits including Bye Bye Bye and It's Gonna Be Me before the group went on hiatus in 2002.

Chasez later released a solo album, worked as a songwriter and producer, and scored a judging gig on America's Best Dance Crew.

A surprise audition helped launch Tony Lucca's career. At 14, he travelled to Detroit believing he was trying out for the movie Newsies, only to discover the audition was actually for The All-New Mickey Mouse Club. He made the cut and remained on the show for four seasons before moving into acting, including a role in Malibu Shores.

Lucca later concentrated on music, releasing several albums and working with fellow Mouseketeer JC Chasez, who co-produced his 2004 album Shotgun.

Ryan Gosling was just 12 when he successfully auditioned for The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, joining Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and the rest of the gang. He even lived with Timberlake's family for part of his time on the show.

Gosling later made the difficult leap from child performer to serious actor, with 2004's The Notebook turning him into a mainstream star. Roles in La La Land and Barbie brought further acclaim and Oscar nominations, while 2026's Project Hail Mary scored him yet another massive hit.

En route to becoming the Princess of Pop, Britney Spears appeared on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club alongside future boyfriend Justin Timberlake. The pair dated from 1998 to 2002, while Spears' own career exploded thanks to hits including ...Baby One More Time and Toxic.

The star's later life has been overshadowed by mental health issues and a controversial 13-year conservatorship, which finally ended in 2021. At the end of 2025, she sold her music catalogue in a deal reportedly worth around $150 million (£110m), helping lift her estimated fortune to $130 million (£96.1m).

Christina Aguilera first auditioned for The All-New Mickey Mouse Club in 1991 but was too young, finally joining the cast two years later. Her phenomenal vocals were already obvious, as Jessica Simpson's earlier story showed.

One of the greatest singers of her generation, Aguilera went on to conquer the charts with hits including Genie in a Bottle and Beautiful, win multiple Grammys and become a coach on The Voice, reportedly earning $15 million (£11.1m) a year.

The richest former Mouseketeer, Justin Timberlake turned his childhood TV break into a hugely lucrative career. After appearing on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, he found global fame with *NSYNC alongside JC Chasez before launching a blockbuster solo career.

Acting roles, endorsements and business ventures followed, while Timberlake sold his song catalogue for an estimated $100 million (£73.9m) in 2022.
