The Beverly Hills, 90210 cast ranked by who's richest today
Which of the show's stars are richest?
When Beverly Hills, 90210 premiered on Fox in 1990, few could have predicted how big it would become. The glossy teen drama followed a group of wealthy LA students through school, college, breakups, scandals and adult life, running for 10 seasons before ending in 2000.
After a slow start, the show became a major pop-culture hit, turned several cast members into household names and helped launch the spin-off Melrose Place. But which of its stars built the biggest fortunes after leaving the famous zip code behind?
Read on for the richest, including a number one that may surprise you.

90210's least wealthy cast members
At the bottom are Tori Spelling and Jamie Walters.
Spelling starred as Donna Martin for all 10 seasons. The daughter of the show's producer Aaron Spelling, she reportedly ended up inheriting a relatively modest chunk of his vast fortune. Her finances have since been hit by debts, lawsuits and tax problems. She's currently in the red to the tune of $200,000 (£150k), as per Celebrity Net Worth.
Walters played Donna's musician boyfriend Ray Pruit, then left acting behind and became a firefighter-paramedic. His net worth is pegged at $500,000 (£374k).
90210's $2 million club
Ian Ziering (pictured) has an estimated fortune of $2 million (£1.5m). He played flashy Steve Sanders across all 10 seasons, making him one of the show's longest-serving original stars. Post-90210, Ziering worked steadily in TV, voice acting and reality shows, before finding unexpected cult fame as Fin Shepard in the Sharknado movies.
Joe E Tata was reportedly worth $2 million (£1.5m) at the time of his death in 2022. As Nat Bussichio, the kindly owner of the Peach Pit, he was sort of a surrogate father figure to the West Beverly gang.

90210's $3 million club
Kathleen Robertson, Carol Potter, Daniel Cosgrove and James Eckhouse are worth an estimated $3 million (£2.3m) apiece.
Robertson (pictured) played sharp-tongued Clare Arnold from 1994 to 1997 and later appeared in shows including Boss, Bates Motel and The Expanse.
Potter and Eckhouse played Cindy and Jim Walsh, Brandon and Brenda's level-headed parents, before leaving as regulars in 1995. Potter later became a licensed marriage and family therapist, while Eckhouse continued acting and directing.
Cosgrove joined the later years as lawyer Matt Durning, while also building a long soap career on shows including All My Children and Days of Our Lives.
10. Vanessa Marcil: $4 million (£3m)
The 10th-richest 90210 cast member, Vanessa Marcil played Gina Kincaid, Donna Martin's half-sister, joining the show in its final years from 1998 to 2000.
Marcil was already a soap star thanks to her Emmy-winning role as Brenda Barrett on General Hospital. The actress, who was in a relationship with Brian Austin Green and went on to have a son with her co-star, later found primetime success on NBC's Las Vegas, not to mention a succession of TV movies.
9. Gabrielle Carteris: $5 million (£3.8m)
Gabrielle Carteris was Andrea Zuckerman, the ambitious school newspaper editor and the original gang's only less affluent main character. Andrea lived outside Beverly Hills and used a fake address to attend West Beverly High, making her something of an outsider.
Carteris was 29 when she started as the supposedly teenage Andrea. She left as a regular after season five to launch her own talk show Gabrielle, which lasted just one season. She later became a major industry figure, serving as president of SAG-AFTRA from 2016 to 2021.

8. Tiffani-Amber Thiessen: $6 million (£4.5m)
Following Shannon Doherty's exit in 1994, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen joined the cast as bad girl Valerie Malone. Already famous as Kelly Kapowski in Saved by the Bell, she gave the show a major boost, with her debut episode becoming one of its most-watched instalments.
Thiessen stayed until 1998, later returning for the 2000 finale. Post-90210, she has starred in Fastlane, White Collar and Netflix's Alexa & Katie, hosted Dinner at Tiffani's and Deliciousness, and reprised Kelly Kapowski in the Saved by the Bell revival.
Joint 6. Brian Austin Green: $8 million (£6m)
Brian Austin Green ranks joint-sixth on the list. As David Silver, he started out as the younger, slightly awkward hanger-on desperate to be accepted by the older West Beverly crowd, before becoming one of the show's central characters across all 10 seasons.
Green went on to land more high-profile TV work, with roles in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Desperate Housewives, Anger Management and Smallville. His personal life has also kept him in the spotlight, including his high-profile marriage to Megan Fox.
Joint 6. Jennie Garth: $8 million (£6m)
One of the show's constant faces, Jennie Garth was Kelly Taylor, the popular girl whose storylines ranged from romance and family drama to addiction and trauma. She appeared in all 10 seasons.
Garth later reprised Kelly in the 2008 90210 reboot and starred opposite Amanda Bynes in the sitcom What I Like About You. She has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, fronted reality shows and released a memoir.

Joint 4. Luke Perry: $10 million (£7.5m)
Luke Perry was worth an estimated $10 million (£7.5m) when he passed away in 2019. As brooding bad boy Dylan McKay, he became the show's breakout heartthrob and one of the biggest teen idols of the 1990s.
Perry left 90210 in 1995, returned in 1998 and later won a new generation of fans as Fred Andrews in Riverdale. His death from a stroke in March 2019, aged just 52, left fans bereft.
Joint 4. Shannen Doherty: $10 million (£7.5m)
Fans of 90210 were also deeply saddened by the untimely death of Shannen Doherty, who was worth an estimated $10 million (£7.5m) when she passed away in 2024 at the age of 53. As Brenda Walsh, Brandon's intense and outspoken twin sister, she was the show's biggest early star.
Doherty left 90210 in 1994 after four seasons, following heavy tabloid coverage of alleged off-screen tensions. She went on to score another major hit as Prue Halliwell in Charmed, returned to the 90210 universe in later revivals and spoke bravely about her long battle with breast cancer.
3. Jason Priestley: $12 million (£9m)
Jason Priestley takes third place with an estimated net worth of $12 million (£9m). He played Brandon Walsh, twin brother of Shannen Doherty's Brenda. The clean-cut moral centre of 90210, he was one of the show's original heartthrobs.
Priestley stayed on screen until 1998, then remained behind the scenes as an executive producer until the series ended in 2000. He also directed several episodes, before going on to star in shows including Call Me Fitz and Private Eyes.
Away from acting, Priestley is a keen racing driver and survived a serious crash in 2002.

2. Lindsay Price: $25 million (£17.7m)
Lindsay Price lands in second place, though her $25 million (£17.7m) fortune is a combined net worth with her husband, celebrity chef Curtis Stone. She joined 90210 in its final three seasons, with Janet Sosna becoming one of the show's key later characters.
Before the series, Price had already worked on soaps including All My Children and The Bold and the Beautiful. She later appeared in shows such as Lipstick Jungle, Eastwick and Splitting Up Together.
1. Hilary Swank: $70 million (£52.5m)
The richest 90210 cast member may come as a surprise. Hilary Swank had a short stint on the show in 1997 as Carly Reynolds, a single mother and love interest for Steve Sanders. But she was written out after just 16 episodes.
The setback was clearly a blessing in disguise. Two years later, Swank won her first Best Actress Oscar for Boys Don't Cry, then bagged a second for Million Dollar Baby in 2005.
With a Hollywood career that also includes Insomnia, Freedom Writers, Amelia and P.S. I Love You, she is by far the wealthiest name on the list.
