The motor was a pillar of noughties pop culture, and fans were recently thrilled to discover that the newlywed hotel heiress still owns the iconic set of wheels after she posted a photo of herself with the Barbie-inspired ride on Instagram. On brand as ever, Hilton donned a matching pink outfit as she posed with the glamorous $200,000 (£151k) car. To use her immortal catchphrase: "That's hot".

Oozing with old-school elegance, Donald Trump is thought to have paid around $500,000 (£377.7k) for his 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom. According to reports, the regal automobile is the most expensive supercar in the former president’s vast fleet of motors.
Elon Musk's Lotus Esprit S1 Submarine: $818,000 (£616k)

Some might say that Elon Musk is reminiscent of a Bond character. It seems rather fitting, then, that in 2013 he splurged $818,000 (£616k) on the 1976 Lotus Esprit S1 Submarine car that featured in the classic James Bond flick The Spy Who Loved Me. Nicknamed 'Wet Nellie', the car originally cost around $100,000 (£76k) to build. Musk admitted that he was disappointed to discover that his new purchase didn’t actually transform into a submarine. He revealed he planned to upgrade it with a Tesla powertrain to fix the issue, although this enraged 007 enthusiasts, who believed the iconic piece of movie memorabilia should remain unaltered.

The rapper reportedly paid $1.3 million (£982k) for the formidable vehicle, with reports suggesting he purchased it to protect his wife Beyoncé, and their children.
Mark Zuckerberg's Pagani Huayra: $1.4 million (£1m)

Despite being one of the world's wealthiest people, Mark Zuckerberg is known to enjoy a frugal lifestyle. So, naturally, the media exploded when he purchased a lavish Pagani Huayra in 2014. The Facebook co-founder reportedly spent $1.4 million (£1m) on the spectacular car, which is a far cry from his previous rides; cars he has owned in the past reportedly include a VW Golf GTI and a Honda Fit.
Kylie Jenner's Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta: $1.4 million (£1m)

Make-up mogul Kylie Jenner is famous for flaunting her swish supercar collection on social media, allowing fans to keep up with her latest wheels. Her current collection includes a Range Rover Autobiography and a Bugatti Chiron (of which more later). However, they don't come much more fabulous than her Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, which was gifted to Jenner by her rapper boyfriend Travis Scott following the birth of their daughter Stormi in 2018.
The opulent automobile, which features gullwing doors and a digital dashboard, came with a $1.4 million (£1m) price tag. Only a limited number of Ferrari LaFerraris have been produced since their 2013 launch, with the iconic car brand notoriously selective about who can purchase their motors.
Flo Rida's Bugatti Veyron: $1.7 million (£1.2m)

Flo Rida owns a prestigious Bugatti Veyron and enjoys splashing his cash by regularly wrapping it in new colours. The extravagant rapper came under fire for wrapping the $1.7 million (£1.3m) supercar in gold chrome, with many describing the finished look as 'gaudy'. In 2013, he raised even more eyebrows when he coated the vehicle in a bright pink wrap. Look a little closer at the photo and you'll notice that there's a charity pin incorporated into the design on the hood; this is because the bold new paint job was chosen to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Gates purchased a rare Porsche 959 model in 1987 but it was impounded by US Customs when he attempted to illegally import it into the United States. He had a painful wait of over a decade before his beloved car became road-ready, and he even helped to pass the law that made it road-legal. The incredible automobile, which boasts a top speed of 197 mph, is now reportedly worth around $2 million (£1.5m).
Jay-Z's Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport: $2 million (£1.5m)

Cristiano Ronaldo's limited edition Bugatti Centodieci: $11.2 million (£8.5m)

Only 10 of these magnificent Bugatti Centodieci supercars have been produced, with soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo one of the reported owners. Given that Ronaldo earned a cool $120 million (£91m) in 2021 alone, the cost of the luxurious set of wheels was just pocket change.
