Governments vs big business

Last month the battle between the Australian government and Facebook came to a head when the tech giant blocked all news on Facebook Australia after the government put pressure on Facebook to pay news outlets for sharing content on its platform. Now, in an unprecendented move for the social media platform, Facebook has agreed to pay media giant News Corp for use of its news content as part of a three-year deal.
