We’re often guilty of letting our backyards fall by the wayside once the colder months roll in. But with a renewed interest in outdoor spaces comes a desire to keep them looking their best all year round. One way to do this is by planting a thoughtful mix of evergreens and seasonal varieties that provide structure, color and texture no matter the season.

By including plants that hold their shape and greenery all year, alongside others that bloom at different times, you can make sure your backyard stays lively and inviting even when the temperature drops.
