Director Steven Spielberg and retired actress Kate Capshaw have been married since 1991. The pair met on the set of 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, where Kate was acting and Spielberg was, of course, the director. Between them, the couple have seven kids.

While Capshaw has since retired from acting, her CV includes appearances in the 1984 sci-fi movie Dreamscape as well as the 1999 rom-com The Love Letter.

A triple Academy Award-winning director, Spielberg has delighted audiences with films including Jaws, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and Jurassic Park for years. While Capshaw’s independent net fortune is unknown, Spielberg is worth a jaw-dropping $7.1 billion (£5.3bn).
