In 2023, a brand-new, unopened specimen fetched a mind-blowing $190,372 at auction, almost 400 times its original price. An unactivated example sold on eBay recently for $5,600, and even used 1st Gen iPhones can be worth big bucks – anything up to $1,700 depending on the condition.
