From record-breaking real estate to chart-topping music, Beyoncé's eighth studio album Cowboy Carter, which taps into her Texas upbringing, sent shockwaves through the music industry when it was released in March 2024.

Beyoncé became the first Black woman to have a number one with a country song in America for her single 'Texas Hold ‘Em', which topped both the Hot Country Songs chart and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

In February 2025, the record won Best Country Group Performance, Best Country Album and Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards, Beyoncé's first for that coveted category. The star is pictured here on stage embracing her daughter Blue Ivy shortly after winning.
