Ryan Reynolds’ 2020 takeover of Wrexham AFC with Rob McElhenney turned a fifth-tier Welsh club into a global sensation, thanks largely to the hit docuseries Welcome to Wrexham.

Building on that success, Reynolds has since expanded into Latin America, leading an investment group that Eva Longoria joined to take stakes in Mexico’s Club Necaxa and Colombia’s La Equidad.
