Investing in bricks of the tiny plastic sort can be surprisingly lucrative. The top-performing LEGO theme has surged in value by an average of almost 20% a year, beating everything from the stock market to classic cars. And believe it or not, some sets have seen typical average annual growth of well over 1,000%.
