Developed by the Kleindienst Group, the Original Edition was the company's first concept underwater home that paved the way for a succession of luxury designs.

Its planned location is Dubai's World Islands and Heart of Europe development, which is centred around six islands that offer up a variety of European cultural experiences. Up to 50 Floating Seahorse homes will be situated at the new resort, which was originally set to open at the end of 2020 and is now slated for completion in 2026, according to Josef Kleindienst, of the Kleindienst Group.
