First Playboy cover

The Labatt ads soon caught the attention of Playboy. After auditioning for the magazine, Anderson quickly bagged her very first cover shoot, appearing on the front of the October 1989 issue.

The following February, the up-and-coming glamour model was chosen to be Playmate of the Month. At the time, Playmates were paid $20,000, which works out as about $44,800 (£37.4k) in today's money.
