One factor, I will not call it a problem, is that technology is developing very fast and if we keep things until they are with out, we will be using obsolete and wasteful technologies. It is sometimes better to buy a new product because it is more efficient.

Apologies for any typos. This sites contrast between typing andb background is nill. It's very simple. If a product coste more to repair than to maintian, or replce, then you get a new onre, Most printeres are cheaper to repalce once the ink runs out. Are ypu seriously suggesting that we should spend more to kep an old product running than it costs for a brad new one, just to save the environmnet??? When governments start to do that, the people might follow.
