Thank you to inform us about the latest development in the lender's fee and the best mortgages available.
My fixed mortgage repayment (5.9%) is about to end and revert to svr of 2% plus the base rate.
I have some ISA savings and bonds maturing soon.
I wonder if I should start looking for fixed new rates or sit tight and go automatically onto the SVR 2.5% repayment for the time being.
I just learnt from your video that lenders do not have to follow the base rate,in which case my 2% over the base rate may not be available for long!
I contributed only 15% of the deposit which is an extinct product unless I pay hefty fee. So, to look for a fixed rate I need to overpay to 60 or 75%.
Any suggestions?
