How do I calculate if offsetting is better than a cash ISA
I have an offset mortgage with current account, regular savings and some cash ISAs offset against it. I also have some cash ISAs with another provider. I want to withdraw a resonable amount of cash from one of these sources. Assuming they are all tax free, is it simple a case of comparing the mortgage rate against the ISA rate from the third party to determine where I should take my cash from? Is my level of taxation a factor?
