Hi all, How soon after you close a credit card can you re-apply for the 0% deal again is there a time scale?

    I was told when I closed one of my credit card accounts that I would have to wait 12 months to reapply.

    Not sure if this is standard or whether it varies between providers.

    Virgin are normally quite quick to answer the phone it might be worth giving them a call.

    Varies between providers but I understand that 12 months is fairly standard, as ckm4328 indicates above.

    Also be aware that restrictions can apply between cards issued by the same group (MBNA in Virgin's case).
