How can I rely on the energy price comparison tool when the "threshold" info on my bill(s) randomly varies, sometimes more than once on the same bill?

    Hi

Your bill probably doesn't cover a precise quarter. Hence, the threshold might not look anything like the annual threshold. Suppliers make bills hard to read deliberately.

The EDF (annualised) thresholds are standard across tariffs. They are:

    900 for standard electricity

    1,000 for Economy7

    2,680 for gas.

    You should use those.
