Where can I check to find out how well my mix of investments in my personal pension plan are doing?

I want to know whether I would be better switching from say Far Eastern Funds to say European Funds or American Funds for instance (I don't want to know how well my pension plan investor e.g. Norwich Union is doing versus say Equitable Life or whatever, I just want to know which are the most profitable funds to be in within my chosen pension plan.)

Your pensions provider is likely to offer an online service. Ask for access and you can check your fund's performance and compare against others.

Of course, you can only check previous performance who knows which one will be the winner in the future :)

try www.morningstar.co.uk . If you have been in defensive holdings until now then it could be a good time to start taking a bit more risk (assuming you are looking longer term for your returns). If you have already been in risky investments, then you may find they are already impacted by the downturn and you would do better to stay in them now.
