I am about to receive my state pension at age 60 and wish to invest this on a monthly basis. I have been told National Savings Accounts are good.

Does anyone have any other ideas where best to invest. I will put in £500 to start it off.

If you do not need the money why not defer taking the pension for one year. I believe the return is very good. telephone them and ask.
