Pension entitlement

I am a UK expat, I paid income tax from 1970 until 1996 then class 3 for 2 years. I have worked full time overseas since then with only short holidays in UK. Working in Saudi Arabia. The new retirement age change to 66 is in 2020 at the moment. I will be 65 at the end of October 2019, with the new tax rules is it worth me paying class 2 payments to make up the missing years? Also I have remarried to a non UK person who is already over the age of retirement can we claim a pension for her even thought she has never worked in UK. Thanking you in anticipation. Alan
