Where can I open a US Dollar account?

I work overseas and have had a US Dollar account with Natwest for more than 10 years which I use for receiving my monthly salary. Natwest have informed me that they are closing all foreign currency accounts and that mine will close in May. I was back in the UK last week and called Nationwide International, explained my situation and they told me it would be no problem to open a US Dollar account with them. I went into a local branch, submitted all my required documents and was told I would get a decision in 48 hours. I'm now back overseas and have had a letter forwarded to me saying Nationwide have refused my application citing clause 25 of their Terms & Conditions. Clause 25 states: "We may at our discretion and without giving any reason refuse to open an account or accept a deposit from any person". So that's it, despite telling me over the phone it would be no problem they've refused me without any reason. I'm now stuck with nowhere to pay my salary into after May unless I can find another bank that will let me open a dollar account. Anyone have any ideas?
