1Why bother with cards? Surely we will have DNA scanners by then which simply look us up and take money from the "best" place according to a set of rules we specify.
We wouldn't need keys either. So clothes would need pockets...

0Suppose it feels like the lines are merging between technology companies and ecommerce companies and perhaps again with retailers and the like.
So maybe it's all going to be shoping on demand through any device, with transactions managed by one or to payment services?
Scary. Lets go back to trading goats and wheat and eating apples from the orchard in the nearest field..... :-) (I am not old enough to remember that BTW.)

0I think that paper currency is going to become redundant.
When ID cards come in, I can see us all working to everything being on one card.
Of course this in itself may raise more concerns
