Loan Brokers

A company called Personal Loan Match charges £40 pounds with the promise to find companies that can loan money for people with bad credit. One of the many companies that called to offer loan is called Speedloans Ltd. They offered to give a loan of £7k spread for 3 years at 7.9 APR with monthly payment of about £219. The first monthly payment must be paid in advance and then the £7k will be transferred to my account. I got other more details from them but I still have some reservation. My question is how does one know a true financial lender as they claimed to be registered with the FSA. If they are scam, how come they are out there deceiving people without anyone exposing them. Thank you.
