Card Payment facility on a Club/Society Account?

I am the treasurer for a Non profit making club account with Lloyds TSB.

As it is a Treasurers Account we don't get bank charges for using the account. At the same time we don't have (or need) an overdraft facility. So far, the service received from the bank has been good.

However, as we have a lot of members paying subscriptions by cash and cheques, we would like to make this process more efficient by offering them the facility to make payment by credit/debit card over the phone. We have approached the Bank with a view to using a card reading machine for this purpose. But they have said that this service is not available on a Treasurers Account only on Business Accounts.

Are there any other banks offering this service on a Club/Society account?
