Earlier this month, NatWest suspended its Get Cash mobile banking app after fraudsters were able to take advantage of the newly launched system to steal money from some customers’ accounts. (http://www.lovemoney.com/news/household-bills/mobile-phones/17687/natwest-suspends-getcash-smartphone-app)

NatWest has said it will refund any customers who have suffered loss as a result of fraud via the Get Cash service.

I tried to use this when I reported my debit card missing but they asked me the details of a recent transaction which I couldn't remember who it was for so they refused me. If they did this on the app whereby you had to name a recent transaction it would make it difficult for fraudsters.
