We agreed to a PPI Company trying to claim missold PPI from a loan compnay we had dealt with. The loan co wrote a few months ago saying unsuccessful.

We received a letter today from loan company direct offering us £7,000. Have PPI Company any claim to any percentage of this?

    It depends on the terms of your contract with them. If it says that they are entitled to part of whatever is recovered, then they are. But if it says that they are entitled to part of what they recover then they are not.

    However, I wouldn't tell them unless it says that you must in your contract with them.

    If they are entitled to it but the contract doesn't say that you have to tell them, I would put the amount that they are due into a separate savings account and wait for them for 6 years.
