What date do I put on a P85 to take non residential status if I moved 5 years ago but since took out an ISA

    You can keep your ISAs but won't be able to add to them.

    hi Mike, I never checked this post.

    I actually posted it incomplete in error so started again with the another title, which incidentally has not received any reply.

    My query relates to the fact that HMRC say they will recalculate previous assessments when a form P85 ( declaration of moving overseas)is submitted. I dont have any income tax issues but have paid into an ISA. So my question is, because I have paid into an ISA, is my date of moving overseas compromised or will HMRC take a view and invite me to unwind the ISA or apply a later date on my P85?

    Thanks for replying to the limited inforemation I gave you. I think I will reissue this question on the board as in this post.
