I defaulted on a credit card on 29/04/2006, this was shown on my credit file as a default. I have been paying £15 a month off this debt. This has now gone from my credit file. If I stop paying this will it go back on my credit file.

This is now a current agreement which you would be defaulting on now, if you did stop paying. It would show on your record for another 6 years.

It would be different from the original default.

As Mike says, you would be making a new default. If you have debt issues, help is available on fool.co.uk dealing with debt.
