Will the last issue of the News of the World become a future collectable?
Or will this be devalued when it's just replace by the Sun on Sunday with the same staff.

878The value of a used copy is virtually zero, so it can't really go down from there.
Whether it is worthwhile giving it houseroom in the hope that no-one else has thought of keeping it as a souvenir is debatable.
There will probably be too many kept for much of a premium to be generated.

44Given that some 3.3M were sold I think its certain that it will not attain any great value. There was also a coupon inside to send off for a second copy and a souvenir copy of the first edition, so there might eventually be many more about. But in 100 years many good intentions to hold on to this edition will have long gone, and as newspaper will probably no longer exist there is a chance it might aquire some value, but probably not more than its inflation adjusted cover price.
