PPI mis-selling
I took out PPI with a loan in 2005. at the age of 63. I continued in Full time employment until March 2011 Last year I was off work sick due to an accident and when I tried to claim on the insurance for the loan payment, I was told it did not cover me as I was over 65.( I was 67 at the time) When I complained to the bank (Santander) they refunded the payments from the time I was 65, but put the refund into the wrong account. No allowance was made for the additional interest incurred because of the PPI being added on to the loan repayment. Do I have case for compensation?
