Debt Recovery Scams

Having recieved the email from Fool.co.uk re Q&A registration directly afterwards I recieved a phone call and subsequent email demanding unpaid invoices from Monster dating back to 2005. Having had experience of this with 3 mobile for a bill of £61.00 that took two years before they decided that the bill had been paid. We do not carry creditors so I have no problem contesting this invoice but I really could do without the hassle. Any ideas ?
