This year, can I consolidate 3 different 'old' ISA providers into one new provider? Then can I open a another ISA's provider, for this years £5340?

I have 3 different ISA providers up to now. I wondered if I could transfer these three different providers into 'one' new provider? Then, I wondered if I could open a different provider again to put in THIS years-2011/2012 allowance? My point is that I'm only putting in this years allowance, but trying to get a better rate on my old years ISA's with a different provider again.
