Are there any tricks behind those weirdly cheap mobile phone contract vendors

Like buymobilephones.net etc. They've no high street presence like carphone warehouse etc and they're so much cheaper. Am I missing something? Is there a hidden catch? Do the not deliver what they claim?

So far I have nothing but positive things to say about buymobilephones.net. Both myself and my sister have gotten several contracts with them and their customer service is excellent as well. I think the 'catch' in this case is that the best deals have 'cashback'. They count on people being too lazy to send these vouchers off with their bills every few months (which is really very easy to forget if you are 9 months into an 18 month contract).

In my case, they have always delivered what they claimed. If there are any hidden catches, I haven't found them yet!

Just in case anyone finds this and wants to know the outcome - I got my Samsung Omnia 7 with buymobilephones.net and am very pleased with their service (and the phone).

Well actually they did mess up the delivery address but when I'm spending £5-10 less than I was expecting for the next 18months, who cares?!
